I still like the best option ONE - no modification. But OK whatever....
I had the same feeling that the process at XFW is somehow slowed - but it might than come 4 frames in a week, so there is still time. I also do think that it is the "doors" problem.
OK let's hope for 3 deliveries - this seems real - SN143 + this one-164.

We did hope for 4 deliveries in October - three weeks are away and still only one bird out of the nest  There should be lots more in November/December, as Emirates will more frames for the routes IAH, SFO and MXP early December... About QR as philidor had hinted there should be one per month, MSN143 should now be ready for delivery, QTR might need it to start the route to CDG on 01/11... Though and overall, I'm little concerned and wondering why no frame is rolling out at XFW, none has yet been reported rolled out of all the deliveries expected for November and December...........  (not rolled out and most of them overdue: EK MSN165 MSN168 MSN169, not rolled out and way overdue QR MSN160, also QR MSN145 not reflown yet, not rolled out EY MSN166...) Well, we know MSN160 will receive the new door design. I presume the same is true for the other A380s. We also know Airbus applied a temporary door fix on MSN137. In other words, it takes time to either install (and paint!) the new doors, or apply the temporary fix. |
