They could always give it the existing tail and the repaint it when they paint the whole aircraft. This happened with the 1st Malaysian aircraft. You may be right, but I think with MAS it's more that they changed the livery after MSN084(MH3) was convoyed... Fabien

While watching the A350 flight activity today, I noticed a Beluga moving around the A380 FAL. I have not seen this before, perhaps Airbus has unloaded the tail fin for MSN166 nearby the FAL to hide the new livery on the fin.

Is it painted white or covered? To me it seems like it is painted white? I think it is covered, because EY is rumoured to come up with new colours on this one. So, painted and covered (just like Airbus did earlier).
