Why there's some black smoke? I think it's due to an aircraft being in the cruise, descending steadily, then setting up on the approach, airspeed decreasing, engines always throttling back all the time, then on finals at low speed, low engine power, the auto throttle or pilot needs more thrust to execute the landing perfectly, so a sudden increase in engine power is needed due to low level wind factors !

Sorry a380admirer I understand now what you meant! It wasn't meant to tease anyone, English's not my first language I am French huhu I think in fact it's happened already (2 different A350s from 2 different A350-customers in flight tests at the same time), here two pictures but it wouldn't say if both were at the same time in the air?.. You mean that some fuel was not be burnt adequately due to the sharp increase of the thrust?

From FabienA380 >> "I guess we would have to dig into the threads to see if they were in the air at the same time........" +++++++++++++++++++++ I made a first quick check in the threads from QR7 and VN4 (flight AIB05FH and AIB04FL) and from the time stamp the flight can be during the same time. I looks that my statement was wrong. sorry that I caused confusion
