Kudos to flight test team and Airbus. After yesterday tragedy to have test flight on Saturday. This send a strong message that France is STRONG.

Anyone know why these Qatar planes are delayed? When are airbus fitting lithium batteries to the A350?

Welcome to the forum karpouzi. As you know Qatar is demanding customer and they want every thing to be right to perfection. That is the main reason for the delay. For the battery, we know it is certified but not sure which frame will be the first. Maybe XWB knows? |

We actually don't know for sure what's going on with the QR frames - as you would expect, both Airbus and QR have been tight-lipped about production issues. Addasih may be right, QR is indeed a picky customer. We know, however, that seat manufacturers are struggling to keep up with increased production rates, and that Fabrice Bregier recently scolded cabin suppliers in general for failing to keep their commitments. So, QR may as well face a supplier issue. |
