For some reason, the Azerbaijan tail reminds me of EgyptAir's tail.

For some reason, the Azerbaijan 787's have been evading all tracking sites sofar. FlightAware has nothing on both. FR24 only has VP-BBR hopping up and down between Medan, KUL and SIN... FR24 has ModeS '424272' linked to VP-BBR. However, all flights are actually from VP-BBK which is a Global Express that uses 424272. VP-BBR must have a different ModeS but I can't find it. This problem already showed during delivery flight on FR24. Check the callsign which is 'VPBBK'. VP-BBS's ModeS on FR24 is correct. But it hasn't flown either. Azerbaijan's 787 haven't flown much (if any flight at all) since delivery I guess. Some Azerbaijani media reports in early January told that passenger service would start in two months. In the mean time they would be used to 'instruct AZAL's staff on operating them'.

VP-BBS made a flight today to Nakhchivan as AHY2251 (or J22251). Seems like things are moving forward and AZAL might start 'normal' ops with the 787 in the near future.

VP-BBS made a flight today to Nakhchivan as AHY2251 (or J22251). And returned as AHY2252 nearly four hours later
