I just realised there was another thread on the ATR (ATR General Discussion) that I didn't see yesterday. Would it be possible to merge this thread with the other one. Thanks (and sorry for not seeing it yesterday)

Thanks (and sorry for not seeing it yesterday) Fabien and all, wouldn't it be better to create a separate thread titled "Aviation Accidents and Incidents" to discuss all related events instead of making new threads for each?

So far I think the accidents are put in the 'General Discussion' threads, like here for the ATR GE222, except for a phew that we have separate threads (MH17, MH370, QF32,...)...

It's going to be a bit of a chore to dig up old posts and bring in updated information.

For me I wouldn't mind, I think it is a good idea, but waiting for some more inputs from other members before proceeding?...

For me I wouldn't mind, I think it is a good idea, but waiting for some more inputs from other members before proceeding?... Just create a new "Aviation Accidents and Incidents" thread whenever, God forbid, a plane goes down (again). No need, in my mind, to dig up accidents from the past.....

It is a good idea to have sub-board under Any Other Aircraft for Accidents

But this would be different I guess, if we create a sub-category every accident would have its own thread I assume... This would be better for clarity but maybe sadder as we could see in an instant how many thread for how many 'incidents'... ... (though not the first ones in the aviation industry and unfortunately probably not the last ones neither,...).
Also I think it would be better to transfer the posts from previous accidents from other threads, I can do this not a problem...
So the main question then here is, .just only one thread in this category (Any Other Aircraft) for all incidents, or .a sub-category for incidents and then each incident with its own thread......
