Unusual to have so many RTO-tests over and over again. It can accelerate and it can brake. And it seems to work well overall. Could this be some engine focussed testing at high power settings?

Doesn't it use any thrust reverse to brake sometimes?

Doesn't it use any thrust reverse to brake sometimes? Some tests are deliberately conducted without activating the thrust reversers.

I seem to remember the CS100 also did a lot of high speed taxi tests and RTO's before the actual FF.

Hope it's just a minor issue. On a slightly similar note, one can recall how Airbus had to push back the first flight of the Trent XWB engine due to a necessary change after discovering an issue ( more here). The engine, meanwhile, is super quiet in that RTO video - Wow!
