Thank you, Olivier !
Have we ever seen pictures of a frame so long before convoy ? Judging from the frame number, she shouldn't head to TLS earlier than Q2 2015 ... Unless Airbus does not build this frame in sequence at all. Anyhow, good news for our guessing games !

That's about right, the pre-assembly lead time is about one year.

That's about right, the pre-assembly lead time is about one year. I just changed this estimate to Q2 2015, to allow for some variation.

That would be number 91, MSN200 is 'only' number 68.

There is no chance and there is no point in having 12 EK convoys in sequence from MSN 200 to MSN211. That is why it is evident that this one will be slightly out of sequence. We are currently getting roughly 50 per cent EK frames convoyed, and a convoy roughly every 12 days. then 10 convoys*12 days/30days/month = 4 months from now =end of February. Looks completely normal to me.

I believe MSN200 is just where it belongs. Only four EK A380s will be shipped to TLS before MSN200: MSN 186, 187, 188 and 190. It is indeed possible that MSN200 will be shipped before MSN 197 (QR) or 198/199 (EY). As we have seen many times before Airbus does build MSN's out of sequence.
