I would count MSN222 for this month?... But for December I would count only MSN223 and MSN224, wouldn't count any of the RR ones......

I would count MSN222 for this month? Of course, MSN 222 was not included in the 5 deliveries for December. According to Tim Clark, 5 A380s are due for delivery in December. That would be MSN 223/224/225/226 and 221. We shall see. Engine issues should not stop deliveries, Airbus and Emirates can settle on compensation. |

We simply don't know that. Whatever the issue with those RR engine may be, both companies can agree on some sort of compensation. This happens all the time in the aviation industry.

Though, MSN225 or any with RR engines have rolled out from OF since early October, and have not moved whatsoever since.... It looks to me that Emirates will not accept any of them before a fix is found, I hope it is before their fiscal year ends, but who knows, not even sure?.... Also what ever MSN221 is doing, I wouldn't count it neither for this year, unless it'd be included of the December-magics?.....  |

Nov 2016, flying on the route XFW-DXB (FLT UAE7380). The aircraft first flew on 14. Jun 2016.

In the moment, when the 200th Airbus A380 is delivered, the great uncertainty has hanged over the future of this magnificent aircraft, and that 300th seems so far away now, but who knows what tomorrow brings...
Let´s hope that the story of A380 is not going to its end and that we are going to see it writing some new and memorable chapters in the rich book of the aviation...

Well, Fabien, the WSJ actually article reports six deliveries are being pushed from 2017 to 2019, with 2018 unchanged, but it hardly says anything new about 2016 deliveries !  "Deliveries of the first Rolls-Royce-powered A380s to Emirates Airline have been slightly delayed amid concerns by the carrier about technical issues with the engine".
