Pre pandemic Heathrow normally is running 98-99% of capacity/slots, the busiest two-runway airport in the world. Even with 75% today, LHR is still one of the busiest commercial airports. Anyone would expect any SAF test flights taking place in a much quiet airport, rather than a busy commercial airport like LHR. I've been in and out of Heathrow throughout the whole summer, not mentioning the large number of passengers there (100K daily cap is a joke), it is always a long queue to take off (very similar to pre pandemic) and landing normally with shorter queue I admit. I don't know how much Boeing pays for Heathrow for these test flights, but I certainly don't remember Heathrow allow such activities before. www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/n8290v/#2d6f2517, Bristol is not mentioned in any of the recent flights. What do Boeing need to test that can't be done in an US airport? Or does US commercial airports do not allow such activities, only LHR agreed to? Flying a few thousands miles to and from UK to test SAF is a complete joke, 5G testing could be a good reason to come to LHR.

Most of the work was done at Bristol airport multiple approaches from both ends etc
