QATAR should quit all this crap and take delivery of those three A380 already ready from a long time, without them any route they advertise has no sense. Ciao. AOIspotter

Thanks XWB! Interesting, this new route is given with no date at all, as the first 2 destinations were released with exact start-dates...... This new route will have to wait for MSN145 to be delivered, no earlier than 2014Q3 though...... Could QTR operate a daily Doha-JFK daily Doha-LHR and daily Doha-CDG with just 2 frames?...... I doubt that it will be possible even after taking delivery of the third frame: The flights to all three destinations leave DOH at around 8 a.m. LT ; the aircraft serving the LHR and CDG rotations will both be back before midnight on the same day and would be ready to start any other rotation the next morning (or even in the middle of the night), but the frame serving the JFK rotation only returns after about 34 hours (around 6 p.m. LT the next day), so it is impossible to start all three rotations on the next day again...

I don't know why but I somehow have a feeling that we won't neither see any A380 in QR colours at LHR neither see any A380 in QR colours at CDG both early next month..........................

QR delays A380 service to London Heathrow until 01AUG14 at the earliest. The saga continues... Sounds to me like they play the same games as they did with the 787s ... QR seems never to be ready to accept a plane without making trouble ... maybe some negotiations about further A380s are on the table and Airbus did not drop the price enough and so they try to create trouble? They wanted to bring it to Farnborough ... lets see if this will really happen...

Yes this is the 787 all over again.
I can already see the A350 EIS slipping into 2015 because of this.

Seems that I was right...... Service to CDG will necessarily follow being delayed soon, how about early October?...... After all if they remove all the seats ,replace carpets, reinstall all the seats, that might look like a time to outfitting a whole A380, delay of about 4 months??........
