I have one question: Frontier airlines, being the low-cost airlines, famous with full-tale paintings of animals. The newest one Link Please flic.kr/p/LK9XdKDoes anyone know the difference in cost of such paintings compared to standard livery? It is worth doing?

I have no idea of the cost ! Asking whether it is worthwhile is in my opinion like asking whether sponsoring is worth the cost : who knows ? Companies must think it is ...

I have no idea of the cost ! Asking whether it is worthwhile is in my opinion like asking whether sponsoring is worth the cost : who knows ? Companies must think it is ... It need not to be too expensive. It is most probably a sticker i.e. the sticker was printed in some printing house well equipped for such a tasks doing it as a routine, we all see hundreds of similar stickers all around us (advertising) - and than maybe coated with some protection cover and put onto the white tail..... We know that similar procedure do all the charter airlines twice a year when their frames move from winter routes to summer and vice versa - mostly there is less complicated print but it should not be such a big deal.

It is most probably a sticker I doubt it, since it is intended to be a permanent feature. Think of CI's signature prune flower on aircraft tails, which is fully painted by experts.

We need to ask some of our members flying with them and look close to see. It is often hard to see the difference.
I do know that the stickers applied on the charter planes are done overnight. The plane arrives from Canada in the evening and in the morning flies to Greece etc. with new tail..... and it is done on hundreds of planes twice a year.
Thanks jkkw - so it seems I was correct with the "stickers".
