PICTURES: Air Madagascar uses Hi Fly A380 to cover A340 flights 03 July, 2019 SOURCE: Flight Dashboard BY: Lewis Harper London www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/pictures-air-madagascar-uses-hi-fly-a380-to-cover-459448/Air Madagascar chartered Hi Fly's Airbus A380 on 30 June and 1 July to cover for unexpected maintenance of its A340s. The African carrier says it chartered the widebody "in exceptional circumstances" to connect Antananarivo's Ivato International airport with Paris Charles de Gaulle. Air Madagascar explained on 29 June that it needed to charter the jet because of "mandatory technical interventions on its A340s in accordance with the international directive of EASA".

Looks like that tweet was wrong and the aircraft is indeed doing JFK runs. Also, the above list of flights shows the aircraft operated for Corsair from Paris to Abidjan

Boarding time... Estelar has 3 A340-300’s that will be affected by the AD to check CFM56’s, just as Air Madagascar:
