Deliveries might indeed be deferred. Transaero however has orders for other types, and we may have the opportunity to see how all this unfolds. The company also is said to have 748 orders - that should help a lot to dodge sanctions ...

Many thanks for the links danteg! We were previously thinking of delivery of 1 in 2015, 2 in 2016 and one last in 2017 but in the second link here it says one per year from 2015 and it also says '1 in 2016' so the last one might be expected for delivery in 2018 I'd guess...

Makes sense - the Russian outgoing turismus is in shambles. Hotel owners in Prague and Karlsbad (it will be similar in Lausene, Geneve and other for them popular spots) claim to have about 50% of clients expected, so ......

The main problem is the depreciation of the ruble. As Transaero mainly relies on Russian customers, load factors and prices must be low. This is a very difficult time for the company.

Let's hope not - concerning Transaero (and Russian people) - let's hope Russian government gets some sense and starts to behave more reasonably less by the methods of the 1930s - but I am afraid it is not too probable.
