On the other hand political situation has great influence on Transareo order. I don't have any insider information, but still I'm 100% sure that there will be deferral and subsequently cancellation of this order. I really do hope to be wrong though...

I thought first reading the post that Transaero received funds for the A380s but in fact they received funds for not to shut down operations due to their financial difficulties, oups that doesn't look good at all for their A380s then.......

The amount is not huge, but receiving government funding is nice whatever your financial situation ... I hope they are not in dire straits but they are just taking as much as they can.

Philidor - I am sorry but I must disagree. They are in very bad situation - they have not paid for 2 month for the leasing of planes, fuel and it's due to some airports. They said that if they would not get the funds they would have to close down until end of this year ! And looking around I can hardly see it is going to get better any time soon.

I don't know any reliable source of information. Is it a fact that they have overdue lease payments ?

The story you linked to mentions : - an overdue debt to suppliers of jet fuel (a cumulated ruble equivalent of $109 million) ; - an outstanding debt to Moscow’s Vnukovo airport - the airline claims that the issue has been settled with the creditor ; - an unsuccessful 8 billion rubles ($ 194.2 million) bank loan application, the bank 'managing to endorse' only a far smaller loan ; - ongoing discussions with various financial partners "to make payments on loans that fell due on the period of August to December 2014".
No mention was made of any deferred or overdue lease payment.
The overall picture is a that of an airline struggling with a cash shortage, but still having support from its creditors.

Right - there was another article earlier somewhere else saying they are late with the payments to the lessors... (which is in the reality point 4 of your summary) any way the picture is clear - Russian economy is down - RUB went down dramatically i.e. Russian tourist stayed at home i.e. leisure charter operators are short of cash.
True is they operate some regular routes, but those are minority of their business.
