You can see that the cowlings on MH frames other than 9M-MND are painted white on the inner side. For some reason, 9M-MND has a somewhat different paint scheme. Indeed. Here are 2 images showing the engines from the inside of the aircraft: vs Source

Where did 9M-MND have its stickers applied and was it before or after 9M-MNF, the final Malaysia frame. Could it be, that Airbus or Malaysia Airlines had a spare set of engine stickers so they decided to put it onto the insides of the engines as well as the outside.

As far as I know the later frames are painted, and not stickered anymore. Don't know if that also goes for cowlings though.

This is quite contrary to the negative press they've been receiving with regards to the A380, such as being unable to find destinations for it. It seems they're now happy with it if they really are looking for more. Well done MH.
