Hello everyone,
I wondered with all those reactivated A380s could there be some upcoming shortage of spare parts? Thankfully, the active A380 fleet is much bigger than anticipated and might be used much longer and with higher cycles and flight time than planned because of the 777-9 delays.
What are the most critical spare parts that will be needed, and are there enough available? Should certain parts be built new again, or has production already started again? Maybe we can collect information concerning this topic?
I heard main gears are one of the bottlenecks. However, they can be overhauled and set to zero hours AFAIK.
