I read this indeed, but I see that probably the MSN was allocated way before that article was written, last month. Maybe the MSN1973 then would switch to another airline? Or is that part of fuselage spotted being used for both -800s and -900s.

Well, if Arkia did move to the A338 from the expected A339, then they did so as quietly as possible.
What I found most surprising about the ch-aviation information was that a lessor was willing to invest in an early-built A338 - an unusual move for a lessor !
Let's remain open-minded while that story unfolds.

Arkia taking one A330-800 instead of two A330-900 is old news. The main question for me is, are the two A330-900 cancelled or deferred?

There are two Bamboo frames, does anybody know the MSN? edit: I found it, MSN962 owned by Macquarie AirFinance, ntu by Bamboo.
