Seeing how the MTOW was increased, what became of takeoff distance?

I just flew DXB to JED with Emirates. Deplaned was by four stairs to the main deck. Where are two of the stairs? 1 is in front, wide and straight, descending forwards, and 1 is in the rear bulkhead, narrower and in a half-circle, but the other two?

How big backlog would Airbus need to ramp up the A380 production rate from 30 to 36 per year?

Shall A321NEO and A321NEOLR need different prototypes?

So, the test fleets are: CS100 - 5 frames CS300 - 1 frame A320NEO family - 1 frame of GTF A320. Correct?

For comparison: Airbus delivered a grand total of 27 A340-500 airliners and 5 private jets, some of which were HGW. (Note that the sums at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Airbus_A340_operators do NOT match!) 6 customers. Emirates for 10 frames, Singapore 5, Etihad and Thai 4, Air Canada and AJW Capital Partners 2 each. 102 A340-600 airliners and 2 private jets delivered. 11 customers. Lufthansa for 24 frames, Iberia 16, Virgin 14, ILFC 13, South African 9, Etihad 7, Thai 6, China Eastern 5, Qatar 4, Hainan 3, HiFly 1. So, if these 136 frames justified not just reengining but rewinging and stretching A340, why not reengine A380 for 200 orders of Emirates alone?

Would the A320NEO engines also be suitable for A340-200/300? The thrust range does match, but with the A333 steadily increasing its performance and the A330NEO on the horizon, no one is going to go this route. Even Lufthansa, who usually keep their planes around for as long as they are competitive have begun phasing out their A343s. Mcdonnell-Douglas ended DC-8 production in 1972, with 262 DC-8-60 frames produced - and in 1982 started to reengine DC-8-60 planes.
