On October 2/3 2007 A380 MSN009 was in Bradley. On Feb 27 2013 an Emirates bird diverted there because of weather at JFK.

Interesting, thanks a380fanclub! Would you know by any chance why MSN009 went there?...

Interesting, thanks a380fanclub! Would you know by any chance why MSN009 went there?... What I found on the net is that it paid a visit on its world tour to say hello to the workers of Pratt and Whitney and Hamilton Sundstrand for their contribution to the Engine Alliance GP7200 engine. MSN009 is now in service as Emirates EDJ.

I was thinking thereafter in fact, it perhaps went there also to test the ability for Bradley for an A380 airport diversion..

What do you mean, all seats have been booked? Big lineup to board Emirates A380 at Dallas by addasih, on Flickr Big line up and I even didn't capture the right side. There was similar line from the other side. In addition to people sitting and sone didn't show yet. I spoke to passenger who was attending conference in Dallas, she said she asked Emirates for upgrade or change of seat but was rejected because plane is full

Was lucky that my flight to Newark in my way home was delayed because of the weather which forced United to put me in direct flight to Montreal with American Airlines otherwise I would have missed my connection. In my way back to terminal D, I saw Qantas A380 landing. I remember this area with the blue "music-labyrinth", that's just in front of the gate where I boarded a few months ago
