Ok I've found it This would then be the new date set, could delivery occur on 31st/10 or 01st/11 and the plane be on the (CDG) route from Monday (03rd/11)?.. Now on QTR's website introduction of the A380 on QR39 only from 05.11 booking.qatarairways.com/qribe-web/public/showBooking.action?widget=BF(not sure if I should add 'subject to change') Suspens, delivery of MSN143(QR2) this month of early next week in November?...

Thanks XWB! So we should have: *as (~now~) planned DOH-CDG should start on 05/11 translating into MSN143's delivery later this week or early next week *second A380 service to LHR on 01/12 cancelled *a second daily A380 service to CDG starting on 05/01/15, probably translating into MSN145's delivery in December ..leading into most likely MSN160(QR4) not being delivered this year Following this, I will now expect QR to delay the A380 service to BKK (was announced for 05/01/15).

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion just yet. As you can see above, Bangkok service is being accelerated.

It went on the other direction that the one I expected (forward instead of delayed) Still, I stay sceptical about MSN160's delivery this year, we'll see...

I wonder why they swapped the second LHR daily with CDG? They are saw that market from UK to UAE, other arab countries, India and Australia is covered by Emirates and Etihad Offensive, while from CDG, they are more space. Other thing, is premium market between UAE and UK point to point, is good served for EK and EY and QR is more poor in this segment. QR is more business airline, and it A380 like premium product has a lot competitors from LHR with a better product.

QATAR should quit all this crap and take delivery of those three A380 already ready from a long time, without them any route they advertise has no sense. Ciao. AOIspotter That's what I think as well... Since the begining QR has just been announcing superannouncing and overannouncing, with not much action behind... Here's the insight: LHR (1st route) announced for 17/06 then July then 01/08 then Sept then 01/10 then 10/10 (=>started on 10/10) CDG (2nd route) announced for 03/07 then 30/09 then 01/11 then 05/11 (not yet started) JFK (3rd route) announced but apparently dropped?... LHR(2) announced for 01/12 =>now cancelled BKK announced for 05/01 then 01/12 CDG(2) announced for 05/01 All this doesn't let me imagine route decisions are taken very seriously at QR, they are the real only A380-operator juggling with routes and dates, none in the past has run on eggs this way. About their planes, MSN137-QR1 was delayed from May to September, MSN143-QR2 is delayed from May/June to 'now yet undelivered'... (already 8 flight test since 'carpet rework') MSN145-QR3 has not moved an cm since reroll out one month ago (early October), as both MSN137 and MSN143 had their RTO and flight tests just within days of reroll outs. MSN160-QR4 not seen painted after 23 weeks since arrival at XFW... My feeling would be: MSN160 not delivered this year MSN145 not delivered this year MSN143 delivered this year opening the route to CDG (November?December?) Route to BKK delayed to late January/February We'll see
