Boeing teams up with Blackberry to develop an ultra-secure smartphone for government and intelligence officials. www.engadget.com/2014/12/22/blackberry-boeing-black-smartphone/Oddly enough, it will use the Android system but will utilise the BES 12 platform. Having read how the Samsung Knox is now approved for use by NSA officials, I don't know if I should feel secure or worried! Some good quotes... I suppose the phone can be disguised as a popular smartphone. And I also like one of the comments below in reference to Boeing's 787 batteries!

Yeah, its odd that they skipped 9. Some say that they went 10 because it's awesome. And a few say 8.1 was the 9. But some others give a more technical reasoning that software coding might have issues if built to support Windows 9x, i.e. 95, 98. Something along those lines... The big win with this new version is that it brings back the freaking Start menu instead of the 8's crap Start page. It's a 7+8 hybrid, in a way.

Windows 10 officially unveiled. Will be free upgrade for 7 and 8 users. Read carefully: the upgrade is free but if you wish to continue using it after the first year Microsoft will be expecting $$$$'s from you. The only problem is: they have not yet announced how many $$$$'s

Yeah, its odd that they skipped 9. Some say that they went 10 because it's awesome. The reason is that just about the whole world disliked 8. To make a clear difference they deliberately went straight to 10.

I have ditched Windows a few years ago and went Linux. Besides marriage one of my better decisions lately I use Windows 7 at work though. I have installed Windows 8 for my parents, not that bad once you cure it with Classic Shell www.classicshell.net/
