British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-BNLW was withdrawn from service at London Heathrow this morning after arriving as BA206 from Miami. And British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-BNLX was withdrawn from service at London Heathrow this morning after arriving as BA42 from Cape Town. Reduces the fleet to 40 aircraft. May have something to do with it?

They both transferred from LHR to CWL for "decommissioning". That only leaves one 747 with the old generation first class cabin (G-BNLF) which was also due to retire this month but got an extension until February to cover for the 777 engine fire at LAS.
