British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-BNLW was withdrawn from service at London Heathrow this morning after arriving as BA206 from Miami. And British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-BNLX was withdrawn from service at London Heathrow this morning after arriving as BA42 from Cape Town. Reduces the fleet to 40 aircraft. May have something to do with it?  |

They both transferred from LHR to CWL for "decommissioning". That only leaves one 747 with the old generation first class cabin (G-BNLF) which was also due to retire this month but got an extension until February to cover for the 777 engine fire at LAS.
