That's pretty much a year from now. Is it that substantial a fix to take that long, or, it will take that long to retrofit all the delivered frames along with the new planes??? The dangerous situations happen in some rare combinations of parameters (see the link below), so that the interim fix is a requirement to avoid them. I think the permanent fix is going to be a software fix, and that one year is the time needed to test the changes. www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/flight-control-refinement-to-fix-a321neo-pitch-up-is-459793/the way I take "excessive" is relative to normal law pitch attitude Leeham pointed out the situation just overwhelm the FBW computer to provide response like normal law -> software changes to behave as normal law is the only logical solution

Pretty significant delay for JetBlue This announcement is part of a negociation for compensation, in my opinion.

A new line would point to a ramp up to or above 70 frames.

I hope this piece of information is confirmed. Faury was noncommittal in Airbus' latest investor update, saying that several solutions were being reviewed.

I hope this piece of information is confirmed. Faury was noncommittal in Airbus' latest investor update, saying that several solutions were being reviewed. There is also space in XFW in soon to be unused A380 outfitting space. A FAL in XFW cuts down on transport cost. It would be still logical for me to do FAL #5 in XFW and use the space in TLS for further expansion of the A350 lines. The A350 production is there also cramping the A330 line by using partly the same assets. Perhaps this article is part of a push by the french union to try to force where the next FAL will be raised. Otherwise is the article not exact. Besides XFW BFM also produces A321 and TSN could.
