D-AVXB should fly in the next days according to WSJ. Airbus prefers Leap engines A321 to fly first and PW one in the next weeks. But delivery schedule remains unchanged (PW first) according to Airinfo. It is very difficult to see how they could deliver the PW engined plane first, unless they artificially retard delivery of the CFM planes. I hardly imagine that Airbus would accept that kind of customer ire just so that PW can deliver first, especially given that the delays are caused by PW themselves. I should imagine that the PW customers just get pushed back while the CFM customers keep their regular schedules.

All present P&W engine issues are expected to be solved before any LEAP 1A version is certified. No surprise that the P&W version is being delivered first.
