thanks XWB! (I can't read twits here, what does the twit say?..)(date?) Fabien Still confused: if 121 is the 110th and still in Toulouse, is MSN127 Emirates EEJ the 111th, although she's on her way to Dubai right now?

Delivery is when the official handover of the aircraft occurs. The delivery flight can be a few days later, so although MSN127s delivery flight is before MSN121s, MSN121 was delivered first as handover occurred beforehand.

When you look at the link Prod List 1 on the top of every page you'll see msn127 as the 110th A380 delivered. It was flown from the factory and it is ready to be used by the customer. I will update msn121 as DELIVERED when it flies to the customer. It may well be it is paid for and HANDED OVER, but it is NOT delivered. The customer can not use it because it is still in the factory. If it makes things any easier, compare it to a new car. You may well have paid for it in full, but you can use it only when you get the keys and drive it yourself. THAT is the time it is DELIVERED to you, the customer.

I personally understand the difference between official and actual delivery and I am not suggesting that you should update the first post already. I was just answering the question about why MSN121 was officially listed as delivered first. This will be confirmed in Airbus' delivery spreadsheet at the beginning of next month.

thanks XWB! (I can't read twits here, what does the twit say?..)(date?) Fabien We have transferred @british_Airways' 2nd #A380 today. Making it our 110th A380 delivered to date and our 13th this year If Airbus transfers an airplane it's all about CASH / DOLLARS / EUROS. Delivery only happens next... I would like to know who made the statement about that "110th delivered"
