Something like that indeed. Wings for the next A350 are prepared during S40 assembly work.

Something like that indeed. Wings for the next A350 are prepared during S40 assembly work. Do you know what number will rotate through to this slot? As in MSN1 then 5 then 10 then 15 ect? Or does the spot fill up with the next scheduled MSN, once the current one has completed is assembly?

I don't think there's a logical sequence. They will have to work out a sequence soon, when the 1000s start FAL, otherwise they could put the wrong wings on the wrong frame AB quote- The wings for the first Airbus A350-1000 have begun the process of assembly at Broughton, North Wales. The A350-1000 wing has the same span of the A350-900 that is already in service, but 90% of the parts have been modified and the trailing edge has been extended to resize the wing for the additional payload and range.
