The delivery from the first A320neo for Lufthansa is now sheduled for the 21th December 2015. There is not any big event planned for the first delivery. The event is planned for the delivery from the 2nd A320neo for Lufthansa in January. Looks like it is slipping. Everybody will be on vacation right now. Do they absolutely have to hand over it during this year by contract requirements or similar?

There will be no vacation for the teams involved in delivery of the first A320neo, on the contrary they will be working day and night. It is not a matter of contract (being a few days late does not matter), it's all about communication. Airbus wants to deliver the -neo on time, everything will be done to that end. |
