I think the name of that website says everything. Why would Delta just paid LATAM $62m to cancel four A350, then eager to buy A330neo within five months? Wishful thinking without any logic.

I've been dealing with customers from Malaysia for the past 15 years, a very small and competitive market with ultra low price tag. The owner/CEO of that airline only care about publicity and this long haul division always lose money for them. I believe they will drop either A330neo or A350 order, most likely drop the 10 A350s, and cut the order to one third at the best (any number above that would be purely artificial), and probably will keep the 30 A321XLR order because it may work for longer route with lower passenger number. Pretty sure Airbus knows very well, they needed this large order to make A330neo order book looking good, and never expected to actually deliver these frames.
