According to ch-aviation.ch both msn previously allocated to Air Asia X (1707, 1712) has status unassigned now.

Somehow I doubt MSN 1707 was ever built, some speculate this is the mysterious MSN 1760.

Does it ever happen, where a large structural piece already built is assigned to another new MSN if the original MSN is cancelled?

I never read anything about that situation, but I think it must happen ... It happens with wings, they don't get assigned an MSN, they just get used on the next frame that needs them. But then again they are the same, no customer specifics involved. |
