According to ATDB msn 1712 is now allocated to Cebu Pacific Air. This means that the last A330-300 which Air Asia X will take is msn 1674.

The odd thing about MSN 1646 is that it was delivered to Thai AirAsia X in March with registration HS-XTF. And now it's going to AirAsia X with registration 9M-XBB. But why is it back in TLS?

We still have MSN 1674 parked in Toulouse. Perhaps 9M-XBB is MSN 1674?

Some difference in flight equipment between branches of the same airline group ? Minor paint work ? That kind of work is performed in the maintenance hangars of the airline. I think a380admirer is right. First, MSN 1646 / HS-XTF is still in service, see www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/hs-xtfSecond, MSN 1646 / HS-XTF has red engine nacelles. MSN 1674 has white engine nacelles. See flic.kr/p/FM5WLL (MSN 1646) versus flic.kr/p/HeuA3d (MSN 1674).
