Wow, that was a quick u-turn! Was the 34 A330neo orders announced at Farnborough ever firmed up in Airbus's order sheet?

Wow, that was a quick u-turn! Was the 34 A330neo orders announced at Farnborough ever firmed up in Airbus's order sheet? I'm not sure that this is a U-turn. Perhaps you remember that, during the Farnborough air show, AirAsia X was rumoured to order about one hundred A321neo/A321 LR. This order did not happen at the air show, possibly because of its implications for the number of A339s needed by AirAsia X. I would guess that the increased A339 order comes with special conversion rights and an agreed conversion formula, such as 1 A339 = 2 A321neo. If AirAsia X actually converts 40 A339s to 80 to 100 A321neo, then the Farnborough A339 'increased order' will appear as a deceptive agreement. Was it window-dressing by Airbus ?
