You know, Boeing has done something I've never ever thought possible - scoring a hat-trick on grounded aircraft. 787, 767 tankers and now the MAX, all in a row. Incredible achievement by the largest aerospace company in the world.

As I understand the story, all already built aircraft are plagued with all kinds of foreign objects. The Air Force hopes for an improvement much later on. "Every plane that’s on the line today we expect to have foreign object debris.... "As the line moves we want to see the point at which FOD changes, and if the amount changes. If it does then it’s telling us that the quality assurance improvement processes are starting to work".

It's a really bad year for Boeing, but for the KC-46 it's been a several-year bad stretch !
