DTW airport is "only" 4 and a half hours away from me. I'm tempted to do a day trip just to see the A320neo in real life (beside off course where one of the NEO test aircrafts flew right over my head last spring on its way to Wisconsin) For us Canadians, it is disappointing that we won't have a home airline operating any neos anytime soon. The best thing we'll have is to hope that some airline like AA sends their neos to our airports.

The other U.S. low-cost carriers (like Spirit Airlines) find it to expensive to land in Canada. Buffalo or Detroit would be the next closest chance of seeing a NEO. Air Canada is settling on the 737 MAX for its future, which is cool i guess too, but I want to see a NEO There is always the chance for a NEO to stop over at YYZ for re-fueling on one of the delivery flights (which it has happened before with other Airbus delivery flights)

Remember - NEO can make it easily non stop TLS-BOM not even the shortest route - it is about the same as TLS-MIA
