Beginning 10/29 901 starts a 2-day routing throughout the Spirit system 10/29/16 781 DTW BWI 0900 1028 781 BWI MCO 1118 1335 422 MCO BOS 1425 1719 615 BOS FLL 1813 2143 615 FLL TPA 2233 2329
10/30/16 610 TPA FLL 0700 0800 610 FLL BOS 0850 1155 857 BOS DFW 1245 1604 719 DFW DEN 1654 1800 719 DEN LAS 1851 1941 719 LAS LAX 2031 2150 709 LAX DTW 2259 0618/31repeat 10/29 sequence on 10/31 and 11/01 902 remains on the FLL-ORD-FLL through 11/01 on 10/29 and 10/31 there will be a brief period where both 901 and 902 are both on the ground at FLL at the same time 901 will be arriving from BOS (2143 arrival) as 902 is departing for ORD (2149 departure) If it's not too personal a query, may I ask what your back-knee distance is (cm preferred)? We can then all reach for the tape measure and judge how we might fit in to the slim-line system. I apologize, I don't know how to resize the pictures to fit in this forum - too computer illiterate, I'll have to ask my 5 year old son to show me how one of these days. To answer your question, on my last trip I was hoping to capture a picture with the old seats and the new seats. These photos are from 646NK - the second to last A320 ceo delivered to Spirit and I also flew two different 319s (512NK and 530NK) during my last trip sequence, but I didn't get the 319s with the old seats, all of the 319s I flew had the new slimline seats. I know for sure that in the old seats, my knees are buried deep in the seat back of the seat in front of me and are extremely uncomfortable. Ok for the personal details, the distance from the rear of my fat pilot butt to the kneecaps is 24.5 inches (62.25 cm) I was able to stick a fist between my kneecaps and the seat back in front of me (an additional 3.5 inches (8.75 cm)) But the slimline seats definitely are still at the same 28 inch seat pitch as the old seats, as it's very hard to get into the seat row to close the window shades. (I'm just too wide) So with the new slimline seats at 28 inch seat pitch, it looks like you have the full 28 inches for your knees, with the way the seat curves to accomodate the butt the passenger in the row ahead of you.
