didn't know if anyone was still interested, but 905 has finally received a set of engines and all of the taped up windows and wheels for storage have come off, so maybe a flight in the near future might be in the works? If I remember correctly, this is the aircraft that had been stored for months following engine issues. If so, it'll be a milestone when she flies again ! Nkpilot, do you think the engine issues are now behind you ?

I don't know to be honest.
I know 904 had an event on Nov 22 which caused a flight from Denver to be cancelled. The pilot social media boards said the engine "blew up" on takeoff. but you know how pilots can be overdramatic. lol Aircraft was ferried back to DFW. and if you go further back on histories on all of four of the flying NEO aircraft, you'll find that the various aircraft will be flying, then either stop in Dallas or Detroit for a few days, or cancel at an outstation, ferry to DFW, and then go back in service. So something is still going on that causes the aircraft to go out of service for a few days at a time.
There isn't a lot of talk going on, and so I'm guessing engines are still getting replaced, except now it's just a normal "oh it just needs a new engine time" routine event. The only thing noteworthy is that I'm guessing P&W/Airbus finally had enough engine spares to finally get 905 a set of engines so that it can go flying again. I just saw it this morning, it's definitely powered up, nav lights on, engines on the pylons. So it's going to be back up in the air soon I imagine - it's been a year since it was delivered, and it's only flown 2 months and 28 days since it was delivered.

Still it is peculiar.....
Indigo had some issues but they seems to be solved now. All the planes are doing well.
LH did not had any problems - all the neos with P&W are doing OK and none was out for more than regular service.
OK the Indian issues were described and it was said the climate is the culprit. But was it really ? I doubt we will know for sure.....
But why should Spirit in the states have such a problems ? There should not be a significant difference in use to the LH ones.

As the new combustion liner has been certified, I suppose 905 will be among the first aircraft to receive an improved engine.

N905NK did the first flight from Dallas to LA To me, this is a milestone, a symbol that P&W actually has emerged from its problems.
