The first 2013 rumoured A380 order was a top-off order from Lufthansa for two (?) aircraft.
The airline was said to be negociating with both Airbus and Boeing for the purchase of 108 aircraft (100 narrowbodies, 8 widebodies). Flightglobal.com wrote the widebody order would be split between 6 777-300 and 2 A380s, but this information seems to have been deleted from their website.
Airbus' 2013 forecast is 25 orders ... Speculation for announcements at Le Bourget airshow in June should grow as usual.
Reuters understood that Bregier confirmed Airbus would both sell and deliver 25 A380s in 2013, meeting its targets. Unfortunately, this is not what he said.
Bregier did say that Airbus would deliver 25 A380s in 2013 (as all members of this forum already knew), but he did not promise to achieve 25 orders . He said that the target of 25 orders was still valid, but he stopped short of saying that Airbus would reach it.
