Good question! The only two positions with only 1 A359 on order in the latest O&D spreadsheet are - Groupe Dubreuil (which is the parent company of Air Caraibes) - ACES Colombia (which according to Wikipedia was an airline founded by some Colombian rich people, and eventually merged into Avianca... )

The 1-piece order for Groupe Dubreuil is for Air Caraibes (or in hindsight maybe for FrenchBlue). ACES Colombia never ordered an A350XWB, they were out of bussiness even before the launch by Airbus. And there is certainly no link to Avianca on this matter: all Avianca A350's are officially ordered by Synergy Aerospace (their main share-holder). The one and only "Governments; Executive and private Jets" A350 on the top-row of the sheet has been there since around 2007 (ordered by C-Jet as far as I know).

MSN 47 and MSN 52 should be next. will they still follow thru with MSN 52,55 & 60? considering Sri Lankan Airways is going thru their financial turmoil, or is the leasing company contractually obligated to accept these 3 frames.

The aircraft needs to be painted, even if the customer has canceled the order. The paint acts as a protective coat, the fuselage cannot stay in primer too long.
If SriLankan Airlines has canceled the order with AerCap then the aircraft will probably be painted white, and could be delivered in white livery to the lessor. Airbus has done this many times before with the A330.

I do believe that with the A350 they might be able to find other customer down the line to take it sooner ?

The lead time on some cabin items is 12 months or so. Plus there's a giant backlog. If AerCap finds a new customer, the aircraft cannot be delivered within the next 12 months at the earliest. So the aircraft will have to receive a protective coat.
