So what does this mean for MSN 7418? I'm a bit confused but i suppose we'll see what happens.

So what does this mean for MSN 7418? I'm a bit confused but i suppose we'll see what happens. Nothing has changed so far. Before entering into force, any proposed US legislation must clear three hurdles : 1 pass the House of Representatives - this is what has just happened ; 2 pass the US Senate (with exactly the same language) ; 3 not be vetoed by the US President. Step 2 is uncertain, as the Senate, which has the larger influence on foreign policy, is unlikely to follow the House's lead. Anyhow, the Senate is unlikely to pass new legislation soon because step 3 would make it pointless. Step 3 is not happening before January 20th, when Trump enters the White House.

I thought step 1 was a vote against exports to Iran ?

I thought step 1 was a vote against exports to Iran ? Whatever the subject, the process is the same : nothing is done until the three steps have been made. In this case, the House voted against exports to Iran, but this vote in itself has no binding consequences.

Well, it's obvious that Airbus can forget about 6 A321neo and 4 A330-800 orders...

"It is obvious TransAsia stocks were involvedWell, it's obvious that Airbus can forget about 6 A321neo and 4 A330-800 orders... That would make HA the only airline with the A330-800 on order, with just 6.

... But speculation about this sub-type not being built is pointless, since we know that the first A338 are being built now.
