Between QR A320 NEO issues and AA deferrals of the A350(among other deferrals and revised delivery schedules), is it possible that IR can can those slots, or is it too short a lead time, bearing in mind the interiors need to be settled/agreed and the owner furnished equipment needs a relatively long lead time.

A degree of customisation is necessary. Just buying each plane 'as is' would result in a hodgepodge fleet.

December orders consists of; Undisclosed: 80 A320neo Cancellation20 A320ceo John Leahy said this was from a Middle East customer and is a conversion of 20 A320ceos to neos and an additional order of 60 aircraft. Given the news and the orders, this looks like it's from FlyNas.

With respectively 189 and 64 new orders in 2016, both A320 family -ceo and A330 -ceo are still going strong. The A350 had enough gross orders to offset deliveries, but also had to suffer some cancellations.
