Ah, that my unmistakable premonition! My blessing and my curse ...
I knew there was something strange and unique, something quite unusual, going on with MSN
221. I had this aircraft in my visions, in my dreams ... I was feeling it all around me, almost touching it ...
And here it is; the mystery seems to be solved now ...
According to those first and brief reports, all the
A380´s systems were performing just well, as it was expected.
After a successful take-off, on its first flight to
Venus, the MSN
221 needed 8 hours and 23 minutes in total to reach the destination, traveling at an average speed of 2.183 miles per second.
After 3 hours and 27 seconds of flight,
EVA specialist Maj.-Gen. Akbar ´Firefox´Al Baker has observed, with the naked eye only, an unidentified object at 8 o'clock, on a distance of 2,231 million miles away. The cold-blooded and highly trained crew, led by
Mission Commander Lt.-Col. Tim ´Shadow´ C. Clark, was well prepared and on stand-by for the emergency maneuver, at first just changing the course by 4,6 degrees. As the unidentified
Object was coming closer at the speed of light, the
Co-pilot & Flight Engineer Maj. Fabrice ´Nighthawk´ Brégier, only 2,49 seconds before the impact, performed high-g escaping maneuver.
A few minutes before the landing on the
Venus, the passengers were told to push the button on their left side just to activate the safety mechanism to do the rest. All the passengers, without a single exception, have enjoyed the world's first
Night-flight to Venus.
After he has experienced some digestive difficulties on the first day after the landing,
Maj.-Gen. Akbar ´Firefox´Al Baker seems to be recovering very well and according to some, so far nothing more but gossips, totally unencumbered by any of the prejudices, he has engaged in a love affair with, no more no less, but
Miss Venus ...
This is no secret anymore; the realization of the whole mission was questionable because of the fact
EVA specialist Maj.-Gen. Al Baker has experienced a major accident during the last space mission he was participated in. Namely, during the work on one of the docking adapters, the join by which he was connected to the one of the
International Space Station´s
Module (
Pirs-Airlock) has eased, and in the next moment
Maj.-Gen. Al Baker found himself circulating in the
Low Earth's orbit. After the recovery team failed to reach him, he has continued to rotate for the next 75 hours.
Fortunately, all ended well, after he was picked up by
ISS Progress cargo craft on its return to the
Earth. Unfortunately, unlike the
Soyuz space module, the
ISS Progress does not posses the six Solid-Fueled
Soft Landing Engines.
... Stay tuned for more action! ...
