Emirates earlier this month has introduced 2-class A380 operations on Dubai – Mauritius route, scheduled on daily EK703/704 service, replacing 3-class aircraft. The 615-seater 2-class A380 service is operating from 01MAY16 to 30SEP16, except 06JUL16*.

EK701 DXB0410 – 1045MRU 388 D
EK703 DXB1020 – 1655MRU 388 D

EK702 MRU1610 – 2255DXB 388 D
EK704 MRU2145 – 0425+1DXB 388 D

* Additional dates to be operated by 3-class is possible.

Due to market demand and aircraft re-deployment, Emirates plans to operate a number one-off 2-class Airbus A380 aircraft on selected routes in June and July 2016. Planned changes as follow.

Dubai – Amsterdam EK149/150 03JUL16 / 06JUL16 EK147/148 07JUL16
Dubai – Barcelona EK185/186 16JUL16 / 29JUL16 / 31JUL16
Dubai – Hong Kong EK382/383 08JUL16 / 30JUL16
Dubai – Kuala Lumpur EK342/343 01JUL16 (KUL departs the next day)
Dubai – London Gatwick EK009/010 14JUL16 EK015/016 20JUL16
Dubai – Madrid EK141/142 20JUN16 / 02JUL16
Dubai – Paris CDG EK073/074 04JUL16 / 12JUL16 / 19JUL16 / 23JUL16 / 30JUL16 EK075/076 08JUL16 – 09JUL16
Dubai – Seoul Incheon 28JUL16
Dubai – Shanghai Pu Dong EK302/303 28JUN16 / 05JUL16 – 07JUL16 / 14JUL16 / 19JUL16 / 21JUL16 / 22JUL16 / 24JUL16 / 28JUL16 (PVG departs the next day)

As a result of these changes, certain 2-class A380 destinations on selected dates will be operated by 3-class aircraft instead.

Both EK31/32 to Heathrow and EK187/188 to Barcelona were operated by a 777 on June 1 and not by the A380, as originally announced. Only EK53/54 to Munich went ahead as planned. Emirates must have been short on A380's, with EEI returning from Bangkok after a tech issue. And maybe EOA came in a day late from Bordeaux. Let's see on June 2...
