That could make sense production-wise, 3 ULR frames are soon expected (MSN186,MSN187 and MSN188), and there is a two month gap between 01/08 and 01/10 for the next destinations announced.. Though, and to answer a question ontheotherforum, no 'new-route' has ever been opened with an A380, all operators-wide... (thanks addasih!)

I can imagine IAD being upgraded to the A380.

update 01/05/2015 Current A380-destinations served by UAE from DXB (DXB not included): 32 LHR--SYD(U)--AKL(U)--YYZ(U)--BKK--ICN--CDG--JED--PEK--MAN--HKG--JFK(U)--PVG--MUC--FCO--AMS--MEL(U)--SIN--BNE(U)--LAX(U)--MRU--ZRH--BCN--LGW--KWI--BOM--FRA--DFW(U)--SFO(U)--MXP--IAH(U)--PER(U)- (U)--routes served by ULR frames Hi Fabian! PER doesn`t require a ULR frame....although most of the time we see an ULR doing this flight (EK 420). It has more with the schedule of the ULR frames to do. EK also uses the 77W to PER, and we see frames with and without crew-rest area.
