Didn't they acquired 10 A350-1000 from LATAM? Latam a350 remaining backlog stands at 14 aircraft (6 a350-900 + 8 a350-1000). A350-900 msn 313 will be delivered (leased) to Qatar Airways soon. Another A350-900 with msn 363 will be probably last a350 delivered to LATAM. After these 2 deliveries backlog will stand at 12 aircraft (4 a350-900 + 8 a350-1000). LATAM probably will cancel 2 a350 orders (900- version or 1000-version) and remaining 10 will be transferred to Delta. In my opinion delta will take from LATAM orders for 10 A350-900 (conversion from - 1000 version).

Didn't they acquired 10 A350-1000 from LATAM? If I remember correctly, they acquired four aircraft and committed to assume ten upcoming delivery positions.

Didn't they acquired 10 A350-1000 from LATAM? If I remember correctly, they acquired four aircraft and committed to assume ten upcoming delivery positions. Looks like Delta will take 3 used LATAM frames and commits to 11, which are within the current aircraft purchase: "During the third quarter of 2019 the company signed a sale contract for 14 Airbus A350 family aircraft, 11 are within the current aircraft purchase commitments and 3 were reclassified from PPE to the assets held for sale"
page 74 of document or 84 in pdf viewer Explanation of difference between 4 and 3 bought used frames from LATAM is simple: probably 4th used frame delivered from LATAM to Delta will be msn 313 or 363 currently both not yet delivered to Qatar AW and LATAM.

A350 engine shutdown incidents linked to cockpit drink spills By David Kaminski-Morrow29 January 2020 www.flightglobal.com/news/a350-engine-shutdown-incidents-linked-to-cockpit-drink-spills/136434.articleAirbus and Rolls-Royce are investigating two incidents in which A350s experienced uncommanded in-flight engine shutdown after drinks were spilled on controls situated on the cockpit centre pedestal. FlightGlobal understands that the airframer is to discuss the matter with operators on 30 January, and will issue a transmission on recommended practices for handling beverages on the flightdeck.Come on headline script writers - this is a dream 'straight line' surely. EWFD (Extra Wide Flight Deck) to be developed for US XWB pilots! (?)
Airbus to add 'Please don't water' sign to A350 XWB console for all US pilots (?)
etc.
