Not 100% sure if this is the right place, so please feel free to move it.

I was looking for flight data starting with first delivery since some time and found: www.theqatarsource.com.
So i was able to complete my excel sheet which covers now everything since the first delivery.
The data is mainly from FR24 but contains also other sources an manual corrections. So it is
not 100% perfect but very near on the truth.

So this is the present status:

Operational Data from A350 fleet per 16.07.2016
basic data from: FR24, Radarbox24, theqatarsource.com, Planefinder and this Forum
Airlines: Qatar Airways, Vietnam Airlines, Finnair, TAM, SIA, ETH, Cathay Pacific

Now we are able to compare Qatar's A350 with Qatar's B787-8 in the same time frame from 7th November 2015 to 16th July 2016:

From interest is that the data show a different way how the airframes are used.
The utilisation with 2,3 A350 flights a day compared to 2,5 B787 flights is nearby on the same level,
but the A350 flight time per day is roughly 4h more than the B788 flight time.
The average A350 flight duration is with ~6,5h approximately 2,5h longer than the B788 flight time with ~4h.
So it looks like, that the B788 is used in a similar way like the B767, and the A350 is more focused on long(er) haul.

The same comparison can be done with Vietnam Airlines' A350 with their B787-9 in the time frame from 18th Jan 2016 to 16th July 2016:

Here we have a simlar sitiuation like with Qatar.
The 789 fleet has a little higher frequency and is used on shorter flights. Therefore the A350 utilisation is ~ 1,5h a day higher than
that of the B787-9.

Of course, this gives us just the information how this aircraft are used within the organisation of Qatar Airways and Vietnam Airlines.

Specially the comparisons are interesting !

Late arrival and or diversion most probably has nothing in common with the plane - might be weather, traffic.....
Also cancelling the flight might have various reasons. All those are big airlines - in the case of a technical problem they can send other plane.....

Also there is the influence of training the crews - the smaller amount of planes the bigger the influence - so those having them longer have the majority of longer flights - short flights will with time most probably disappear.

Nice are the Finnish numbers.
