Tom Enders is probably in higher regard in France than in Germany, where he was criticized for notoriously refusing to yield to German government pressures. As to your comtempt of the sources I quoted, I am fully aware that you have a very high opinion of yourself, and usually dismiss any dissenting assertion, even when it is well-informed. So far as I am concerned, this unpleasant discussion is over. Please philidor and mjoelnir calm down. If you two want to rant do it off Board in messages ! Let's not discuss corporate manoeuvring / politics, just concentrate on the planes, that's what we all love

I personally would never call any media well informed and trust them especially at this kind of soft topics. I think media organisation need to sell news, so they need a "story". So maybe a simple reorganisation (which makes quite sense for me) was maybe blown up to have a story. So it is absolutely o.k. to think this is well informed but we should respect and enjoy other opinions to the topic. I like your inputs but I think some grains of salt are also welcome.

I think this isn't the right thread (yet) to discuss about the Annual Media Briefing, could we either create a specific thread for the every-year Annual Media Briefings, or leave it as it is in this thread but remove the word 'issues' in the thread's title?.. (Airbus General Corporate)

(Airbus General Corporate) I don't see there will be a lot of posts in a Annual Media Briefing thread that would warrant the creation of one. I only posted the info here since I took this as the closest thread to a general discussion thread so probably the 2nd option works

This is the right thread for any general discussion about Airbus. Among many possible topics, we can discuss commercial or financial results, changes in group structures or management, group policies regarding labour, outsourcing, ethics ... And I think the present title fits all that.
What we should not do in this thread is get into the specifics of one line of business, programme or aircraft type.

I agree, but my concern is about the word 'issue'..... Annual Media Briefing or financial results don't seem like an issue to me ..
