Checked online for both Hainan and Capital Airlines and MSN 098 left Toulouse in Capital colors and is listed in Capital Airlines Fleet List, not Hainan Airlines. Also, look at photo above on delivery flight. Please read the thread and you will get the information. |

If I remember correctly, Beijing Capital Airlines is a subsidiary of Hainan Airlines, unless both are subsidiaries of the Hainan group. Anyhow, the above discussion is moot because many aircraft groups - IAG being an obvious exemple - order aircraft on behalf of the different airlines they own.
In this case, the only difference is that Hainan Airlines may be both an airline and a holding company. The owner is probably Hainan Airlines (hence the flight number), whereas Bejing Capital Airlines must be the intended operator (hence the livery).
EDIT : the aircraft may as well belong to a lessor, Hainan being the lease holder, Beijing Capital Airlines sub-leasing the aircraft.

First commercial flight on 13 Oct, PEK to SHA.
Repainted already, been told it was too expensive to repaint in TLS, so they did it after delivery.
