[The CAAC certification of the A320n with P&W engines happened a while ago. I was asking about the reasons that specifically delayed MSN 7788, not about type certification. CAAC has authority on Chinese airlines and could raise a hurdle to any delivery. That's why I asked whether MSN 7788 was delayed by engine issues or Tianjin Airlines met some bureaucratic roadblock. Each aircraft needs to get kind of 'certificate' (like 'nod') from NDRC before delivery. For the specific aircraft, we don't know. Technical problem, airlines or authority can all be the possible reason behind the delay.

So after two CAF's, MSN 7757 has been rejected?

It could also be delivery crew shortage from Tianjin Airlines. I heard MSN 7969 for HK Express delivery flight was delayed for this particular reason.

A320-271N, Tianjin Airlines, F-WWBI, B-8660 (MSN 7851) ferried to LFBF today to be stored there (for reasons already discussed in other threads).
