Happy New Year! It was a wonderfultrip. A friend has emigrated to Brisbane and we toured Queensland for 6 weeks with brief 4 and 3 day visits to Melbourne and Sydney. I was hugely impressed with the scenery, wildlife, snorkelling in the outer Great Barrier reef etc. and loved the cities (Melbourne airport could have done with a train serving it). We hope to return in 2018/19 if the exchange rates allow!!
Thanks for your A380 contributions - very interesting insights.
PS Sorry I meant that 2-3 of the whole Qantas fleet found itself in LA during the grounding.
