What is going on with EK frames? keep stacking them in TLS With 48 aircraft to be parked during the DXB runway refurbishment I would be surprised if Emirates takes delivery of 248 and 249 before late May.

The runway refurbishment could also mean more A380 are needed. Last time all A380 were in use and Emirates rather cut down on 777 in use.

Of course, EK will park 777s first, and will make intensive use of its A380 fleet during the refurbishment period. I don't think, however, that they would take any more aircraft in the run-up to that period, since more aircraft would just mean more parked frames.
